Location: Client site: Rockville, MD. Due to COVID-19, all work will be performed remotely until further noticeDuties and Responsibilities:Lead a Tier 2 Help Desk team in performing deskside services duties to include:Install, connect, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and replace endpoint computing hardware and software. Endpoint hardware includes, but is not limited to, desktops, laptops, Apple desktops and laptops (roughly over a dozen), thin clients, and peripherals. Other hardware components may include memory, hard drives, removable storage media, DVD-ROMs, network interface cards, PIV readers, monitors, keyboards, docking stations, etc.Endpoint software includes operating systems, application software, utility software, and NRC procured and/or developed standard system software (please see the Application Services section for more software assistance requirements). Remote assistance may be used to help end users if the end user's desktop is connected to the NRC network.Provide incident resolution and troubleshooting assistance for Government owned, off-site computers.Virus/malware/data spill response.Regional office system and network administration.Printer and multi-functional device technical assistance.Data removal and recovery.Required qualifications:Strong experience in managing Tier 2 Help Desk and Deskside Service Operations.ITIL Foundations Level (or higher) Certification.Required Clearance: Clearable for NRC Q. Candidates will have to obtain an NRC Q clearance as part of onboarding.Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.*This position is contingent upon contract award.Why Join Gunnison?Gunnison takes on ambitious projects.
