Job Details

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Financial Analyst II who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Financial Analyst II , you will:
• Support the financial operations of the Adventist HealthCare with split responsibilities between Financial Planning and Reimbursement teams through:
• Managing, updating and maintaining the budget software for entities of responsibility
• Routine reporting and analysis of revenue and reimbursement recognition for acute and non-acute care hospitals
• Involvement in monthly and annual filings with the state and Medicare/Medicaid
• Performing account analysis, trend review and volume projections
• Routinely updating and interacting with senior entity leadership
• Compile and issue routine deliverables, in conjunction with the monthly accounting close process.
• Submit biweekly and monthly labor productivity and workforce management reports
• Create metrics, KPI's, scorecards based on statistical analysis using both financial and clinical knowledge
Knowledge and understanding of financial reporting systems, writing, editing reporting, building dashboards, and managing data.

Qualifications include:
• A Bachelor's degree in business, finance or health related field, Masters prepared preferred.
• 3-5 years of work experience in financial analysis and management required, including commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures. Working knowledge of health care industry and/or hospital operations preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, budget/forecasting software, financial reporting, database management, report writing
• Ability to work independently and handle a multi-task environment.
• Able to actively participate on a team, supporting other team members and offering assistance to others as needed.
• Strong customer service skills on the telephone, email, and face-to-face contact.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Must be creative, enthusiastic and a strategic thinker.
• Must have the ability to guard confidential information.
• Must have the ability to plan and coordinate projects from start to finish, set and meet objectives, budgets and deadlines, be attentive to detail and have strong communication/presentation skills.
• Must have tact and good judgment.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Must have the ability to work directly with upper level management (i.e. "C" level executives) through face-to-face contact, email and telephone.
• Must have the ability to present reports/findings/presentations to large groups of people, including upper level management (i.e. "C" level executives).
