QinetiQ is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for our C5iSR Sector to lead QinetiQ's people strategy, along with the associated processes and tools. This will allow our leaders to an Identify, Manage and Develop their people. The HR Manager is responsible for partnering with Leadership and management to enhance workplace performance and deliver the QinetiQ US strategy. Your Contribution to the Mission Ensure a fair and consistent interpretation and application of Company policies, practices and procedures that create and maintain a people first culture. Foster change leadership, act as an HR brand ambassador, and drive culture by caring for our team members, our vendors and our customers. Manage company organizational structure, roles, responsibilities, and staffing levels. The HR Manager is responsible for aligning business objectives with the Leadership and management teams within C5iSR Leverage data to plan and implement strategic HR Initiatives and act as a consultant to managers and employees on general HR issues. Manage employee benefits offering in conjunction with brokers, vendors and HR leadership. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory concerns including: Federal, State and local laws and regulations related to the HR function such as FLSA, ADA, Civil Rights Act of 1964 and FMLA. Lead Employee Relations issues. Provide strategic and tactical leadership to the HR Team to include the Talent Acquistion team. Lead the Pefromance Management process accoss the US business To Land This Job, You Need Bachelor's degree 9 years HR Generalist experience with a government contractor with at least 4 years of management experience Deep and broad understanding of end-to-end HR processes and the corporate systems used to support them. (ie, Benefits, Payroll, recruitment) Experience leading talent acquisition processes and a team. Strong background in supporting HRIS solutions and resolving integration issues (ie, Payroll and Benefits) Knowledge and experience with all federal and state regulations, filing, and compliance requirements, including COBRA, FMLA, DOL/FLSA,and state leave laws. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to see the wider picture to identify the root causes and recommend corrective and preventative actions. Quality-oriented with a keen eye towards attention to detail. Highly organized, able to multi-task and meet deadlines. Ability to work efficiently and effectively both independently and in a team environment. Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to communicate and work effectively with all internal and external customers at a global level. Good understanding and knowledge of development and change management lifecycles. Ability to utilize functionality of MS Office applications and other various technology applications.
