Overview: Aggregate Industries, a leading supplier of quality construction building materials in the United States, has an immediate opening for a Fixed Plant Maintenance Mechanic/Welders at Millville Quarry in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. The position will support operations from 10:00 pm through 7:00 am Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair and maintain fixed plant equipment Maintain accurate records of parts, actions completed and items in need of repair Adhere to all lock out, tag out, confined space and working at heights requirements Participate in regular safety meetings, and on-the-job training, as required. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 2- 3 Years of specialized training in a technical school, apprenticeship or manufacturer's training program preferred 3 - 4 Years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in a plant or industrial environment Working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as the use of all shop equipment such as welding and machining equipment.
