*Position Summary: * The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for handling our accounts payable and assists with month-end closing procedures. S/he also is responsible for providing financial analysis as needed. This individual must have a strong accounting background, as well as strong skills in Microsoft excel and Dynamics GP. ** *Essential Job Functions: * Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following: * Process all A/P (Corporate and Retail Branches), including auditing and coding invoices, cutting checks, and handling disputes. * Creation of weekly status reports for branches. * Reconciliation of accounts and various other ad hoc projects as needed. * Process Weekly Corporate and Retail Branch AP. * Create and update Financial Reports - Retail Branch and Corporate. * Audit, research, code and record all Retail Branch and Corporate AP. * Calculate and create weekly Financial Reports for All Retail Branches. * Create Accounts Payable Status Report for Branches and Corporate as needed. * Create Cash Balance Report for Retail Branches and Corporate as needed. * Provide technical support to all employees with regards to Accounts Payable and Payroll. * Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes. * Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes. * Create Journal Entries for Weekly and Semi-monthly pay groups. * Record Payroll JE's in Great Plains. * Audit, code, research and record retail branch and corporate invoices. * Handle all accounts payable checks (mailing and distribution). ** *Required Job Functions: * * Personnel development; staff meetings and discussions; team building. * Process manual checks usually twice a week or as needed. * Assist Finance and Payroll with Year-end projects. * Verify and obtain vendors' information such as 1099 forms, new mailing address or contact name. * Handle disputes, inquiries and/or vendor complaints. * Provide technical support to Retail Branch CSR team, managers, and other employees with regards to Accounts Payable. * Assist the Payroll Team when needed. * Handle special projects for CFO and Controller. * This position may require occasional overtime and travel. __ _The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
