You will be advising Enterprises that are gearing up to meet challenges thrown up by the advent of "now information"A' age and helping them transition from legacy platforms to the new age flexible architectures. You will be joining a firm that is early stage and poised to explode. A critical part of the account team, you are the technical partner to the account executive, working closely with the account executive throughout the sales cycle from product demos and presentations to proof-of-concept (POC) deployments and winning technical validation. You are the technical lead ensuring that the products being offered can be tailored to meet the customer's requirements.Responsibilities:Partnering the account executive to understand the customer's technology footprint and technology strategy.Working closely with the account executive throughout the sales cycle from product demos, proposals and presentations, you will join the account executives in attending meetings acting as a technical expert.Working closely and collaboratively with customers to devise effective solutions, occasionally providing thought leadership to the customer in architectural design discussions and development of technical requirements and solutions.Develop and deploy proof-of-concept (POC) applications to demonstrate value to prospective customers, sizing technical requirements and securing customer technical resources and commitments needed to ensure a deal's "technical close"A' .Sizing and assessing customer product requirements for product solutioning and pricing.Preparing for a technical hand-off to the post-sales and customer success technical teamWorking closely with other stakeholders (including Partner sales and presales teams) and collaborating with them to close businessResolving occasional technical and product challenges to become successful in deployment of StriimHandling objections and working with Striim Product and Engineering team in addressing any gaps in solution presented to CustomersRequirementsBachelor's degree, or equivalent, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information SystemsMinimum 3-5 years of experience working within a technical pre-sales positionMust be a subject matter expert with extensive software systems experiencePrinciple knowledge of database management systems software such as Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL Programming LanguageExperience in working with large data environments would be an added advantageBasic knowledge of programming languages such as Java. Python, Shell scriptingKnowledge of Cloud Solutions such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google CloudPrinciple knowledge working with, configuring, and troubleshooting Operating Systems based on Unix/Linux and WindowsExperience working with Message Systems such as Kafka and JMSExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsAn ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understandAbility to travel (up to 50% of the time)This role requires the employee to travel to various client locations.
