The MIL Corporation is seeking a JAVA Developer, Sr. Analyst to support a Federal Government client at our Patuxent River, MD location.
Responsibilities
- Design and development of application user interface.
- Design and development of related database backend.
- Integration of scripts with the application.
- Assist in analyzing user requirements to determine application features and functionality.
- Assist in application installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years Java Application Development experience.
- Experience with using JavaFX SceneBuilder.
- Experience designing and developing databases.
- Familiar with Linux and bash scripting.
- Familiar with using version control software such as GitHub.
- Familiar with secure coding practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong Linux and bash scripting skills.
- Strong User Interface design skills.
- Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) is a plus.
- Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification.
- Linux certification is a plus.
