Marketing Campaign Writer (Consultant) Are you a master storyteller with a gift for bringing stories to life? Are you a fierce and articulate advocate for customer needs? Do you thrive on optimizing content across channels based on performance? If so, you may be the writer we are looking for. The Deloitte Consulting Marketing Team is seeking a bright, highly motivated, energetic, and persistent professional to join our team. We're looking for a brand ally who can create compelling original content while also being comfortable editing material written by others. You'll work with highly collaborative campaign teams to drive engagement and ensure our brand shines through across a variety of channels - web, email, social media, paid media, printed materials, and event materials. Creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to customer service are critical for success. What you'll do (Responsibilities): Work with the Marketing Portfolio extended team to understand portfolio objectives, key messages, and target audiences in order to inform content creation Interview subject matter experts with curiosity and focus to develop priority marketing assets Work closely with campaign marketers and stakeholders to bring their vision to life with copy that's engaging, on-brand, and low-risk Write and edit for a variety of media, including websites, blogs, emails, online ads, style guides, social media, sales collateral, client stories, and more Write derivative content for a variety of owned channels with a laser focus on meeting campaign objectives Collaborate with channel owners (eg web, email, social) to understand channel-specific best practices, rules of the road, and suggested enhancements Work with extended campaign team to analyze, test, and optimize content performance Review content for brand continuity, voice, tone, and grammar Collaborate with graphic design team on marketing campaign assets Manage project timelines The team Deloitte's Consulting Marketing team combines the power of Deloitte's brand with the most inspired marketing techniques to produce business results for our clients. Qualifications Required: Writing samples Bachelor's degree in marketing, English, PR, communications, journalism, business, or related field 4+ years' experience in content writing/marketing/advertising/technology/PR Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred: Excellent written and oral communication skills Overall digital marketing, content strategy, and channel strategy knowledge Ability to research, interview, and compile information from a variety of sources Strong design sensibility/familiarity with design apps IT and technology knowledge Project and time management expertise Self-starter with a focus on detail and meeting deadlines Ability to multitask and work with little supervision Persuasive team player with a knack for working across groups Willingness to meet the stakeholder or subject matter expert where they're at Ability to nerd out on campaign and creative strategy, but capable of giving internal stakeholders the most bang for the buck when timelines are tight Persistence with a side of flexibility Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 to $116,000. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
