Role: We're seeking a passionate, diligent & results driven sales professional that understands the importance of delivering continued value to our customers & prospects. Successful selling is a team sport at Splunk and the end goal is to have customers deriving more and more value from their data. And our Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) are responsible for leading the extended Splunk team to help drive this value for our prospects and customers. It's a seller's responsibility to encourage, help, and even challenge our government agencies to do more with their data. At Splunk, we take pride in having teams of highly motivated, self-starters. Responsibilities: Be able to learn, grasp, and convey value in sophisticated product offerings Establish a vision and plan for continued pipeline generation and to implement your plan on-time Research & understand your customer's mission, needs, and challenges in depth Identify and use the internal & external resources around you to deliver results Land, adopt, expand, and deepen sales opportunities. Expand relationships and orchestrate sophisticated deals across diverse business collaborators Become an expert in Splunk's internal processes Diligently maintain CRM inputs and supervise progress Always Be Curious Requirements: Minimum 5+ years of sales experience (selling sophisticated enterprise software-SaaS/Cloud) 3 + years of direct enterprise software sales experience (owning full sales cycle) 3+ years of current Civilian Agency related sales experience within the international financial vertical Recent experience selling to International Development organizations (World Bank preferred) Experience covering World Bank preferred; experience covering subsidiaries a plus Experience closing 6-7 figure complex deals (SaaS/iACV etc.) A measurable track record in new business development, customer growth, and over-achieving sales targets Experience and credibility selling at the CxO and senior sales business manager level You are an attested "hunter" willing to take on an acquisition territory and have fun doing so Consistent track record of sales performance and knowledge of Federal Civilian sales Comfortable and creative with white space, new customer demand and contract capture Strong understanding and track record for forecasting business High insightfulness and the capacity to multi-task Excellent qualifying and closing skills and closing 6-7 figure deals (software sales and iACV) Business development, prospecting skills and ability to build strong Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience will be considered.
