Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Capture Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will support our CI/PTW operating unit in Headquarters division. This position will be located in McLean, Virginia. Responsibilities: Lead, design, and implement analytic market intelligence models in support of business capture efforts across markets. Lead competitive assessments and Price to Win (PTW) activities in support of market growth and development. Collect and interpret competitive intelligence data. Identifying and interpreting competitor bid tendencies and customer buying patterns is essential for this role. Perform extensive market and competitive research and analysis through public data sources. Create and supply analytical content and findings in various presentation formats. Drive discussions with executive-level leadership. Lead PTW efforts with an aim of driving and helping executive/capture-level decisions on potential opportunities. Basic Qualifications: Must have 10 years of work experience. Will Consider a BA or BS degree with 6 years of work experience - OR - a Master's degree with 4 years of work experience. Pricing/Cost Strategy experience Experience with performing competitive assessments/proposal/solutions for various market areas. Facilitating strategy sessions to develop potential competitor engineering solutions Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with a proven ability to manage multiple projects at once Analyze customer award trends and collect and analyze competitor price data to support PTW analysis Experience with the full suite of Microsoft products and various modeling tools (eg, SEER-SEM, HW and IT, Crystal Ball) Must be able to work on-site in McLean, Virginia Must have the Ability to obtain a DoD(Department of Defense) security clearance, US Citizen. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with briefing executive/capture-level leadership on research and analysis and in providing recommendations Experience with developing internal and external professional networks Experience with the USASpending.org, Govwin, SAM.gov, DACIS and other government or third-party resources Possession of excellent research and analytical skills that has been demonstrated in a functional role Current Active DoD Secret Clearance Salary Range: $111,600 USD - $167,400 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
