Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: Conduct field investigations and perform failure/accident analysis on incidents involving all types of vehicles and related mechanical equipment Conduct vehicular accident reconstruction and mechanical failure analysis initially in a support role and later as a project lead Perform calculations, engineering analysis, computer analyses and simulations and technical reporting Investigate design, safety and failure of machinery and mechanical systems Provide technical findings and conclusions in laymen's terms, both verbally and in writing Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies Regular and predictable physical presence in the office Long term goal to become testifying expert Position Requirements: BS in Mechanical Engineering required, Master's Degree preferred Eligible within six months for P.
