As a Technical Analyst, your role on our talented team will be comprised of working with Product Owners, Cloud Engineers, Software Developers and internal customers to analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements for new products and projects, and enhancements and tasks for existing products. In addition to functional and non-functional requirements, the Technical Analyst is additionally responsible for documenting functional test designs and cases for our products and ensuring that all functional requirements are met with successful tests prior to promotion. This role requires the ability to research, document and communicate these requirements to Engineering and development and document, design and sometimes develop the corresponding functional tests for those requirements. A successful candidate in this position will have demonstrable experience in research, documenting and communicating cloud technology requirements focused on Azure but also including AWS.Job Duties & Responsibilities: The role of a cloud technical analyst entails research, documentation and communication of function and non-functional requirements and functional test use case design, testing and sometimes test development. The candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and a strong passion for system stability and testing. The candidate will foster relationships through passion and positivity and will model a behavior of accountability.Must have requirements:* 5+ years of demonstrable, professional systems analysis and design experience.* Strong critical thinking, decision making and problem solving/analytical skills.* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Experience in working with various people with various ranks to document and communicate functional and non-functional requirements.* Understanding of test driven development and practical application of TDD to ensure requirement adherence.* Experience with designing, developing and performing Functional Tests.* A self-starter with abilities to transition to new technologies and solve problems analytically.* At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps oriented team utilizing the AGILE with SCRUM methodology.* Familiarity with Azure resource management using ARM templates, Terraform templates and Azure APIs.* Proven experience collaborating to identify root "spirit" of requirements, and analysis of complex and distributed systems and environments.Nice to have:* Any Azure Cloud certifications(AZ-900, AZ-303/4/5)Benefits:At GEICO, we make sure you have the support and resources to leverage and develop your skills, secure your financial future, and take care of your health and well-being.
