Sr. Associate, Labs Community Manager

The Community Manager role in the Lab is the heart of managing the communications and engagement of our Lab Team and all our stakeholders. This person will craft clarity through newsletters, events, articles and short form channels like Slack. They will know the ins and outs of what matters to our staff and our stakeholders and will be able to harness the collective knowledge of these communities to make for a better Lab and better outcomes for our programs.

Our ideal community manager will have a passion for emerging technology (e.g. Crypto, Web3, Metaverse, NFT, etc...) and for organizing & connecting people to achieve greatness around their passion areas. To this end, the ideal candidate will have both project/process management experience to execute operationally and content creation skills to manage both incoming & outgoing communication with the communities.

Daily Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Supporting day-to-day communications within the Lab including Hackathons, All Staff meetings, and Special Events.
  • Support in new hires onboarding and offboarding of staff.
  • Coordinate education sessions for the Lab on topics of interest and relevance
  • Managing our new and emerging tech slack channel + newsletter. Responding to people's questions, concerns, ideas along with highlighting relevant content to the community.
  • Coordinate an educational program for the company on emerging tech topics being researched by the Lab.
  • Overseeing intake of ideas or requests for support from the company on key topics being researched by the Lab.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • At least 3 years of Project Management experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of experience in communications
  • 1+ year of process management experience
  • 1+ year of event planning experience
  • 1+ year of People Management experience
  • Tech program/Bootcamp
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Work experience achieving results with complex projects
