Director, Social & Digital Performance, Insights & Analytics

Capital One is looking for a Director to join our award-winning Brand Social and Digital Content Marketing team. This leadership role is vital as we strive to deliver Best-in-Class Social Media & Content campaigns as well as lead Digital insights & reporting through an Enterprise Center of Excellence model. This role requires an analytical and intellectual thought leader with a strong familiarity of how channel performance contributes to broader integrated marketing plans. This role will shape the future measurement and insights roadmap & lead a broader insights agenda for the enterprise.

This leadership role will use an evidence based approach to measure & optimize website performance, deploy both short and long term channel KPI's, lead a listening research practice & social platform strategies and lead real-time campaign & crisis reporting. This role will keep the team ahead of the curve and help build thriving thought leaders in the Analytics, Social Governance and Insights space.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for leading measurement agenda and reporting cadence tied to paid & organic campaigns, and long term brand impact studies across social channels. This includes leading social listening & reporting efforts and all executive readouts.
  • Work to uncover Social Insights across the enterprise that will inform business strategy and decisioning. This may include working on specific segmentation insights tied to specific Lines of Business.
  • Within Content marketing scope this role will lead site metrics, reporting and will collaborate with the content team on SEO strategy. With third party content partnerships will lead all reporting and development of KPIs in partnership with media teams.
  • Responsible for uncovering and implementing innovative practices in social and content analytics. This includes working directly with major social platforms on reporting best practices including developing a test and learning agenda.
  • Lead organic, employee advocacy & social platform marketing strategies, publishing, innovations and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in martech measurement & publishing tools: Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Adobe site, Google analytics, SEO tools.
  • Manage Brand Social creative messaging strategy for consumer communications, crisis management reporting & monthly campaign engagement metrics.
  • Lead horizontal programming including Governance function & Enterprise Community of Practice to ensure we're effectively managing risks in social media across the enterprise.
  • Role will be a key stakeholder within Enterprise Data Management Platforms and future marketing models.
  • Manage all vendor and agency relationships including Enterprise wide licensing agreements.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 10 years of experience working within Marketing Reporting and Analytics
  • At least 7 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Google Data Studio, Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Adobe site & SEO tools
  • Experience working specifically with social media platforms and reporting
  • Ability to deliver strategic recommendations and create broader narratives based on data analysis. Includes converting large streams of data into recommended actions
  • Market research experience
  • Understanding Boolean logic for social listening & insights reporting
  • At least 5 years of experience in Social, media or content marketing
