Job Description: The Sales and Marketing Coordinator will provide administrative support for sales and service efforts of the Group Sales, Convention Services and Catering Sales Teams in the order to execute profitable revenues from events for the Hotel. Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to assist all 3 departments in achieving their monthly revenue goals Communicate general hotel information to potential new clients prior to contractingAssist with the proper distribution of details for all events to appropriate departments as provided by the Convention Services and Catering TeamsEfficient communication of event expectations to all operational departmentsCoordinate internally all support services to ensure successful eventsCoordinate with the appropriate areas in the hotel to resolve any issues, complaints, and problems to ensure customer satisfactionOther duties as assigned by Director of Sales and Marketing Qualifications: Two or Four-year college degree Minimum of 3 years hotel experience in a convention hotel environment Must be detail oriented and possess strong administrative skillsMust be comfortable speaking with customers Dynamic, enthusiastic, creative individual who can perform multiple functions and troubleshoot when neededAbility to demonstrate warmth and empathy when engaging with others Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook, previous experience with Delphi/Salesforce very helpful
