Overview: Axient is seeking a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Analyst to support our corporate office in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Manager, the HRIS Analyst works closely with the HR team as well as the company's Business Segments in HRIS administration. The HRIS Analyst is responsible for assisting in monitoring, maintaining and improving the HRIS. The HRIS Analyst will assist the HRIS Manager in maintaining the UKG system as well as the Deltek system. Creates, maintains and updates employee records in the HRIS systemAnswers inquiries and provides information on employee records to authorized agencies including state and federal agencies, including unemployment claims, employment verifications and subpoenas.Provides information to auditors for various audits.Creates and runs reports in Cognos Business Intelligence as needed.Support HR Business Partners with Axient's Segment needs.Solves problems, answers inquiries and enforces HR/Payroll policies.Monitors data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.Assists with compliance reporting including EEO, VETS, OSHA and California-specific reports.Assists with Business Development reporting/data needs.Assist with the various HR processes as needed, ie Open Enrollment, Performance Reviews, On-Boarding, Off-Boarding Training, etc.Acts as a liaison between HR, Payroll, and the software vendor.Assists in the development of processes by recommending improvements or changes to systems when deemed necessary for greater efficiency.On-site and remote attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job.Contributes to HR projects as needed. Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years HR experienceKnowledge of human resources concepts, best practices and proceduresKnowledge of HRIS systems and ability to learn new systems and technologyProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExceptional communication skillsExceptional attention to detailAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality Must love working with and analyzing dataBachelor's degree in HR or related field or equivalent experienceKnowledge of UKG pro and Deltek Costpoint a plusMust meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocols
