Assists in controlling labor/beverage/food cost for department. Knowledge of safety procedures to ensure employee and guest safetyUnderstands all PLCB regulations and ensures compliance of all applicable liquor laws for the departmentEnsures compliance with all federal and state gaming regulationsAchieves budgeted revenues, control expenses and labor costs, and maximize profitability within all areas of food & beverage outletsMaintains company operating standards. Qualifications: Skills to Help You Succeed:Ability to analyze and interpret restaurant operation results.Ability to solve complex problems.Ability to perform assigned duties under pressures.Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulation.A variety of task and deadlines requires irregular work schedule.Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment.Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner.Must-Haves:Preferred, five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in restaurant management and supervision in a fine dining facility.High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.Must be Serv-Safe and RAMP certified.Must have full working knowledge of POS.Must have knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program.Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.Physical Requirements:Ability to work long hours.Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning.Ability to climb stairs multiple times daily.Ability to handle multi-tasking-heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms.Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
