Our team is comprised of innovative, talented individuals who are the driving force of the success we have experienced and continue to achieve in this fast-paced industry.We are currently looking to add our team with an exciting opportunity as an Insurance/CSR at Transportation Insurance Brokers, an Acrisure Agency Partner located in Towson, MD.The Insurance Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing service to a designated book of Transportation Commercial Lines clients, meeting quality standards while supporting the overall agency goals. The CSR will be courteous, enthusiastic, and helpful when assisting clients via telephone, writing, e-mail, or in personEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Regularly responds to client requests for service, or initiates contacts regarding issues of coverages, rate, normal maintenance of policy information, client accounts receivables, claims assistance and all customer invoicing Prepares proposals, bind coverage with insurance companies, prepare and process certs, prepare auto id cards, send bind confirmation to client Adheres to quality standards & procedures to prevent errors & omissions, exposures and adhere to all applicable insurance regulations. Verifying documents for accuracyReviews & upgrades all policies, advising customers of changes & obtaining updated information about exposures, evaluating risks for underwriting purposesAttempts to expand current accounts via sales of other lines of business, documenting all efforts to do soDocument client data files, including EPIC diary system to verify invoicing and receipt from company of endorsements requestsProcesses insurance documents daily, including but not limited to policies, audits & endorsements and completing applicationsMarkets renewals for designated book of business beginning 120 days in advance of expiration dateOther duties as assigned by managementThis description is not meant to be all-inclusive and may be modified from time to time at the discretion of management.Competencies: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
