Position Summary: MAG is seeking a motivated Systems Engineer that can understand, guide and execute systems engineering processes for a complex software-intensive program. This position offers an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's core defense/intelligence services and systems. You will work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. You will collaborates with stakeholders and contractors to accomplish technical activities applicable to development and integration of software capabilities. Participate in the development and implementation of system engineering strategies. Review and assess developmental contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with government-provided regulations and standards. Participates in government oversight of contractor engineering activities, to include as a supporting team member in agile development paradigm activities within the Software Agile Framework (SaFe). Generate recommendations to the government regarding system engineering, planning, requirements prioritization, design and system integration. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing team in the early stages of a newly awarded 5 year task order with multiple opportunities for upward advancement supporting EW (Electronic Warfare and Cyber). The EW program delivers critical capabilities to counter current and future threats, enabling the next generation of warfighting capabilities from sensor to Soldier worldwide. By applying game changing cyber technologies through agile development methodology, we enable battlefield dominance for our Warfighters. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but not limited to:Experience conducting the systematic translation of product requirements into total systems solutions that adhere to technical, schedule, and cost constraints Ability to define systems processes, interfaces and architectures including design and reverse engineering where it is necessary Experience performing systems integration of software and hardware solutions Experience developing design documentation including hardware and software architectural, functional, and interface descriptions. Experience with production of technical papers and technical presentations Requirements: Minimum Requirements3 years of direct experience with system engineering2 years of experience with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processesBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology Excellent communications skills including the ability to generate focused technical documentation on complex topicsMust be able to work in a team environment and execute tasks on-quality and on-timeActive Top Secret Clearance (TS/SCI preferred) Special Note: The position is contingent upon candidate's ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.
