**Description: Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wall paper, and can paint walls, piping, floors and equipment* Troubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities* Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance* Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns* Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, preventative maintenance* Perform minor corrective maintenance and repair of commercial plumbing fixtures, replacement of overhead and specialty lighting, basic carpentry, minor drywall repairs, painting and specialty items such as doors, door closures, furniture or other general maintenance work.* Respond to service calls and work requests as required.* Work independently and as a second person with other team members.* Repair or make recommendations to Site Lead on any defective equipment in their area of responsibility.* Organize, restock, label, and maintain shop supplies, and plant according to all code requirements.* Respond to request for picking up and delivering boxes for file storage, maintaining chain of custody and coordinating pickup by outside vendor.* Respond to request for delivery of dry ice and pick-up of empty bins and monitoring of dry ice production.* Safety Duties: Ensure safe working conditions are being maintained in areas under his/her care.
