Responsibilities: DIGIT is seeking a Deskside Support Central Office Lead to manage a team of 12 full time employees at the General Services Administration Headquarters Building. This position requires management of operations within the headquarters as well as dispatch work within 50 miles of the facility. Close collaboration with the customer and multiple stakeholders is essential to successful operations of on site support. As a leading provider of advanced information technology solutions and professional services to US federal government agencies, is the prime for a $807m task order in support of the General Services Administration (GSA) Office of Digital Infrastructure Technologies (IDT) DIGIT (Digital Innovation for GSA Infrastructure Technologies) task order driving digital transformation and delivering continuous improvement and business value to its customers. The team is comprised of the best-in-class technology partners to leverage forward-leaning technologies and best practices to transform GSA's IT capabilities and shift offerings to provide a more flexible service delivery model, completing the agency's shift to a fully digital experience along with its adoption of advanced, emerging technologies such as intelligent automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.RESPONSIBILITIESThis position shall perform the following (to include but not limited to) activities:- Provides the necessary services for Project Management to provide the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing resources to support all Deskside Support Central Office operations.- Supervises and coordinates all Contractor activities and ensures that the task is performed to the best possible efficiency- Works with the Government and customer counterparts to elaborate on onsite support requirements for GSA users and executives.- Ensures appropriate levels of communications are established and maintained with GSA, Information Technology Support Services stakeholders, DIGIT leadership and other Regional Office Buildings- Responsible for all aspects of project performance (ie technical, contractual, administrative) - Consults with the customer in ensuring conformity to all contractual obligations - Establishes and maintains technical and operational requirements- Organizes and assigns responsibilities to subordinates and oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks - Manages and supervises personnel involved in all aspects of customer support functions- Tracks performance through Service Now of all full time employees- Engages with DIGIT counterparts and the customer on a regular basis as well as when special projects, events or other needs arise that require DSS Central Office support- Engages with various portfolios and the customer to help drive resolution when CO DSS Central Office participation is required- Facilitates training for other DIGIT DSS regions when operational needs and efficiencies are needed- Performs other related duties as assigned- Escalate issues to vendor and third-party entities, as necessary and directed by the Government. CONTRACT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSThis following are REQUIRED for this position:- Public Trust Clearance by start date- ITILv4 Foundations by 31 Jan 2022- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. - Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. - Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.- Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.- Proven ability to work independently in a full and/or partial remote environment with limited supervision and may supervise/lead others.- Possess the ability to communicate in both oral and written forms, demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff as well as clients.- Maintain standard working hours per the DIGIT contract and to be available for meetings, and other collaborative efforts during working hours.- Demonstrated ability to apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments with the ability to use practical experience and training to determine - 6 - 9 years of experience and bachelor's degreehow to accomplish tasks. Qualifications: CONTRACT DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSThe following are DESIRED for this position:- Project Management Professional- Proficiency in the Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Chat, Meet, Docs, Slides, Sheets), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Slack, and ServiceNow.- Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, including holidays as scheduled.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEThe following are the education and experience required for this position:- Experience as a remote worker demonstrating time management and self discipline with cultural change management and Agile mindset.
