Description The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for performing administrative tasks and services to support the operations of the Human Resources department. Responsibilities include new employee orientations and on-boarding, compliance reporting, record maintenance, and assisting with recruiting and benefits administration.Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Assist HR team with full life-cycle talent acquisition process to include sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews* Perform pre-employment process, to include reference checks and background screenings* Manage employee onboarding and conducts new hire orientation* Set up training plans in HR training system for all new hires, and during special training exercises* Participate in HR side payroll process to include, processing status updates, salary changes, address changes, and benefit changes in the HRIS database* Process unemployment claims and state/federal compensation survey requests* Assist employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures* Manage semi-monthly data uploads into benefit vendor systems* Manage bill processing for company benefits and HR service vendors* Process annual OSHA, EEO-1 and Vets 4212 filings* Assist with planning and execution of special events, to include benefit enrollments, Company-wide meetings, employee recognition events, and holiday parties* Maintain HR intranet site, posting updated information for wellness newsletters, job postings, and other applicable materials* Participate in special HR projects, as available and assigned* Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resources files, records, and documentation Requirements HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems, HRIS Database, HRIS System, Microsoft, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Critical Thinking, Communication, OSHA Requirements, OSHA Standards, HR Payroll System, Eeo Reporting, Compensation & Benefits, Dayforce Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
