Overview: BOOST is helping one of our successful clients hire an experienced, communicative, and energetic Human Resource and Facilities Coordinator to provide support in Vienna, VA. This role follows a hybrid model but 100% REMOTE during the pandemic. The HRFC must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous activities, exercise extreme discretion with sensitive data, and always remain organized and professional in a fast-paced work environment. This is a full-time position that requires strong attention-to-detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform work independently with minimal oversight. Responsibilities: Acts as main point of contact for all employees in relation to HR and FacilitiesProvides policy and procedural information to employeesSupports the annual Employee Handbook update by suggesting revisions and additions and working with the primary editor to ensure appropriate language in coordination with the HR teamProvides effective and timely counseling and information regarding Savan Group's benefits programsProvides benefit forms with health insurance providers and coordinates the provision of benefits to new employees/throughout the plan yearFacilitates the plan renewal information gathering from benefit broker to provide recommendations to leadership regarding options available during open enrollmentFacilitates the open enrollment process under the supervision of the HR and Administration Manager Ensures that the benefits information in corporate communication platforms remains currentSupports the annual performance review processEnsures the communications and forms are reviewed by the Head of HR and systems are updated to reflect current employee informationAids in the updating of compensation information across all platformsCoordinates with managers on the performance improvement plan process (as needed) and ensures the appropriate parties are involvedCoordinates with managers around involuntary separations and supports the completion of the action by ensuring appropriate documentation, organized communication amongst all parties, and an efficient departure of the impacted employeeServes as the initial point of contact for all inquiries by former employeesManages onboarding process including orientationOversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothlyAssigns/terminates facilities access for employees (new and terminated) and guestsManages building accessManage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessaryEnsures proper maintenance of office equipment Coordinates with Finance to ensure that all employee-related data is accurate and consistent across all company systems and recordsCoordinates with Finance and the HR and Administration Manager to ensure timely and accurate reporting of all labor-related data for federal and state compliance (ie, EEO-1, AAP reporting, ERISA reporting form 5500, AACARES Act of 2020, etc.)Manages employee engagement initiatives such asOrdering gifts for employeesPlanning eventsConducting exit and stay interviewsCoordinates and/or supports special projects such as employee meetings, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and culture-building activities Establishes and maintains positive, professional, and supportive working relationship with employeesOrganizes and files corporate documentsAd hoc duties as needed Qualifications: 2 - 3 years of HR, office management, recruiting, and/or executive assistance experienceDependable and punctual with a positive attitude and team work ethicMust possess excellent writing and oral communication skillsMust possess heavy attention to detailMust be capable of working independently and outside of the traditional business hours as neededMust exercise good judgment in all situations and maintain confidentiality as required Education / CertificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related fieldPHR or SHRM-CP certification - preferred Work Authorization RequirementsMust be a US Citizen Additional Perks/BenefitsCompetitive salary compensation401k Retirement Savings PlanCellphone ReimbursementCommuter BenefitsYearly Training Budget BOOST is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.
