JOB TITLE: Financial AnalystGOVERNMENT AGENCY: US Department of Justice - Drug Enforcement AdministrationPOSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time/ Permanent PositionLOCATION: Arlington, VAPOSITION TIMING: Position requires a DEA clearance which can take 4-8+ weeks to process and MUST be complete before candidate can start working. Any key requirement(s) not met will automatically disqualify you as a candidate for this position TASKS:Prepare Division weekly budget financial reports for upper managementReview and reconcile quarterly undelivered obligation documentsAssign funding to obligation and commitment documents and update spreadsheetsCreate and realign new budget lines and transfer funds between budgets in the financial management systemCreate and fund new fiscal year vendor commitmentsMonitor and track quarterly agency funding for task force overtime reimbursements Process funding obligations and de-obligations of unused funds for agency contractsPrepare and review requisitions for the purchase of agency goods and/or servicesCreate and process invoices by ensuring receipt and acceptance of goods and/or services in the financial management systemReview and audit vendor payments to ensure availability of fundingProcess employee travel authorization and audit reimbursement requests REQUIRED:MUST be a United States CitizenMUST be able to obtain a US Government Security Clearance (positive credit history, no criminal record, favorable employment history, no history of illicit drug use)1-3 years of related Financial Analysis/Accounts Payable experienceBachelors' Degree, RequiredEffective communicator, oral and writtenExperience working under strict time constraints in a time sensitive environmentExperience with developing and managing budgets preferably in a government environmentMust be able to manage multiple priorities at any given timeAdvanced working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, particularly ExcelMust be a fast learner with superb analytical skills and an eye for detailExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsProfessional demeanorAbility to work with minimal supervisionMust be willing to protect and safeguard sensitive government information Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements Benefits:Health, Dental and Vision, 401(k), Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), 10 Paid Federal Holidays, 3 weeks' Paid Time OffIT Coalition, Inc. is an information technology and consulting company focused on servicing the needs of the Federal Government.
