DMInc.com| Careers | Twitter | LinkedIn |Facebook About the Opportunity: DMI is currently seeking to hire a highly-motivated, personable Contracts Administrator to provide full life-cycle contract management of Government and Commercial contracts, General Services Administration schedule management, and supervisory support at its Corporate Headquarters in Bethesda, MD. This is a hands-on position and requires the highest level of ethical standards. Duties and Responsibilities: Administers advanced and complex contracts, participates in the formulation of contract policies, procedure, methods, operating practices and performance standards for the program areas supported.Submits and tracks proposals from solicitation through award acting as the single POC for government interactions on assigned contracts.Seeks debriefs for all contract award decisions, prepares and coordinates protest documentation if needed, generates substantive and relevant questions for use in advance of debrief opportunities.Facilitates effective implementation of contract responsibilities within program objectives and requirements.Assists subcontract administrators in the preparation of subcontracts through identification of prime contract flow-down clauses and obligations.Identifies and mitigates corporate liabilities by ensuring that a full and complete explanation of corporate contract responsibilities is disseminated within the program organization.Reviews and works to develop a consensus to resolve contract-related issues affecting company compliance and ensures that legal requirements, company, and customer objectives are always considered prior to decisions being made.Advises senior management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions based on fact and knows when to seek counsel from peers.Applies established acquisition/purchasing regulations, policies and procedures while assisting in the procurement of goods and services in the federal government environment.Assists with contract policy implementation, related training and maintaining established contracting policies and other corporate-change initiatives.Maintains contracts database integrity, associated documentation and training materials.Supports planning, organizing, and implementation of activities related to acquisitions and procurements.Administers GSA Schedule contracts and associated purchase orders, change orders, letters, memorandum, narratives and statistical reports as required under the reporting requirements specific to GSA, NITAAC and other government-entity GWACs.Oversees and ensures that corporate information is properly disclosed in various federal repositories such as SAM.gov and ensures proper reporting compliance (annual, quarterly, and twice-annual) under various contracts such as GSA Schedule and GSA-based vehicles, NITAAC reporting and ensures proper reporting for DMI's activities related to Small Business subcontracting reporting and fiscal year-end reporting.Manages, drafts and submits Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) responses.
