Responsibilities: Peraton is seeking an Entry-level Subcontracts Administrator to support the Global Health & Financial Solutions contracts team based out of our Herndon, VA location but this position can be 100% remote from anywhere within the US. Responsibilities:Sources and procures technical services and/or material on Time & Material and Firm Fixed Price subcontracts/purchase ordersOwns contractual management for the supplierResponsible for source selection from contract proposal to execution phasesCoordinates and collaborates with key stakeholders such as contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, program and end-usersNegotiates terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized servicesPrepares bid packages, conducts bidders conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontractsIn conjunction with quality organization, evaluates and monitors supplier quality and reliability, as well as supplier ability to support required schedulesIdentifies strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improves efficiency and manages risk through strategic and targeted negotiationsManages performance of subcontracts, ensures compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulationsEmploys sound business practices and assesses supplier performance as part of follow-up activitiesReviews and approves supplier payment as needed Qualifications: Required Qualifications:US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field and 0-2 years of relevant experience.Those graduating in May/June 2023 time-frame are welcome to apply.Experience with handling multiple tasks simultaneously.Experience with negotiations.Proficiency in MS Office; including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Desired Qualifications:3.0 and above GPA.Excellent organization skills.Communication (oral and written) skills.Self-starter with problem solving skills.Experience with SAP Procurement & Accounting System. For Colorado Residents: Colorado Salary Minimum: $36,000 Colorado Salary Maximum: $87,200 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
