Responsibilities: OBXtek is currently staffing for a Help Desk Specialist to work remotely. The tasks will involve the following:* Tier 1 position taking incoming calls from Vendor Support Center contract holders. This is a mid-volume contact center open Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm (5500 calls per month). Primary role is supporting the Schedules Input Program (SIP), a proprietary software application used by GSA contract holders to upload their price list onto the GSA Advantage website. * Supporting other internal applications such as FAS Sales Reporting, PO Portal, GSA Advantage and GSA e-Buy. Having great customer service skills and the ability to professionally handle customers is the primary skill set. * Must have good usable knowledge of MS Office. This is a work from home position. * All training will take place using Google Meet as a webinar tool. Must have high speed internet, land line phone at home and a headset. Qualifications: * Must be a US Citizen and CLEARABLE this will include a very extensive background check including criminal and credit going back fifteen years or to eighteenth birthday; whichever is first. * 1-2 years relevant experience in help desk support* Must be able to stay on work task while working remote* Tier one phone support with an excellent phone demeanor * Team player * Strong Interpersonal skills* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Computer knowledge (equivalent to A+ certification)* Ability to work in a highly visible and high pressure environment * Proficient in MS Office support * Need to demonstrate job stability and be extremely presentable at all times * Efficient with typing and speaking to users at the same time* Multitask and setting priority to ticket status* Skilled at using a help desk ticketing system Education:* Some college courses relevant to experience, can be substituted for more work experience.
