Description Robert Half is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for a small, but growing construction company in Baltimore, MD. Overview of Responsibilities:+ Maintain ownership of the AP process to include processing about 150-200 invoices a week to be approved for payment in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.+ Supply credit cards to employees for company related purchases and collect receipts to be reviewed and matched to statements. + Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close procedures. + Maintain vendor relationships and research/resolve any discrepancies or issues. + Assist the Finance Manager with additional general accounting functions as needed. Requirements + 3-5+ years of accounts payable experience including experience performing month-end close procedures. + Comfortability working on a small accounting team.+ Construction or related industry experience is a plus and/or preferred. + Strong technical skills; Foundation software knowledge is a plus.+ Strong attention to detail, researching abilities, and problem-solving skills.+ Bilingual Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.+ Ability to work 100% on site in the office.
