Iass IT Project Manager
Position Description: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has an immediate need to strengthen the underlying foundation of our Cybersecurity and Risk Management Programs. The USCIS Information Security Division (ISD), is responsible for the management and strategic leadership of the USCIS Cybersecurity Programs, providing agency-level cyber and information security oversight, governance, and compliance to ensure that USCIS information technology (IT) infrastructure and information systems are properly secured to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information that is stored, transmitted, and processed in support of the agency's mission. To enhance the Risk Management Program, the ISD Risk Management Branch (RMB) has initiated the Information Assurance Security Services (IASS 2) contract to perform and execute Risk Management activities in accordance with current DHS and USCIS Security Authorization processes and procedures and enhance the USCIS authorization and continuous monitoring capabilities through the standardization and oversight of monitoring activities. This position is contingent upon contract award. As the IT Project Manager (PM) you will provide Program Management support for planning, execution, and completion of all project activities in accordance with best project management practices. Provide Program Management services as required to effectively manage the staffing, technical capacity, capability, and appropriate plans to deliver the defined support services on schedule and within budget.Perform oversight and management of onboarding, terminations, deliverables, and management of resources, performance, and cost.Serve as the Government's single point of contact for all contract actions, questions, and recommendations.Identify and resolve issues and risks that could adversely impact performance, costs and/or delivery schedule.Prepare status reports and briefings for management review.Schedule and/or plan meetings.Attend mandatory meetings, including:SOW Kick-Off Meeting,Monthly Program Management Review (PMR), andOther ad-hoc meetings scheduled by USCIS Senior Leadership or the RMB Federal Team While USCIS will provide management oversight, it is the responsibility of the IT PM to manage all corporate resources and supervise all Contractor staff in the performance of all work. This position does require onsite presence located at the Government workspace in Camp Springs, Maryland, but is also authorized for telework.
