Fully remote opportunity mainly responsible for supporting the development, enhancement, and maintenance of asset related actuarial models supporting our Term, Universal Life (UL), & Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) businesses, built using GGY AXIS. Models are used for Valuation, Corporate Planning, Investment Analysis, Solvency II, Cash Flow Testing, IFRS and Financial Reinsurance. All development must meet model validation, control, and documentation requirements defined by the company's model governance policy and comply with the firm's Model Risk & Control Framework. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain GGY AXIS asset model for a variety of purposes, including Assumption Updates, New Asset Types, Cash Flow Testing, Corporate Planning, Solvency II Reporting, Investment Analysis and IFRS reporting requirements.Support periodic updates to asset data in models and generation of subsequent asset-specific reports as requested by model customers. These include in-force best estimate and various forms of Scenario/Stress testingServe as model code peer reviewer and test the models to ensure that they are appropriately built and fit for the purposes of all the modeling requirements as work demands may require across corporate actuarial.Liaise with model governance, valuation, finance, liability modeling, and financial planning team members to ensure models built using GGY Axis, Excel, SQL, or other software are fit for the intended purpose and built according to the model specifications.Provide modeling support to internal customers as needed. Possible examples include economic stress testing, impact analysis for new assumptions/asset types, etc.Ensure model control is maintained around production models, to prevent unauthorized changes and ensure integrity of model results. Maintain detailed documentation of all changes made to models, including impacts under key reporting bases and evidence of required approvals.Identify and implement process improvements, including automation of manual tasks where possible, to increase efficiency and transparency while minimizing the risk of errors.Work directly with stakeholders to Provide analysis/build out new processes for new requirements/assumptionsPrepare ALFA model asset data/assumptions for remaining ALFA models and assist in full transition of process to GGY AXIS.Provide Guidance/Assistance for other team membersOther duties as required.
