What you will do: As the Lead Communications Specialist for the Office of the US CEO, you will support external and internal communications for Deloitte's US CEO focused on both strategic planning and tactical execution-helping to drive our effort to develop and implement external and internal activities that support the OCEO communications strategy and plan. This position reports to the Communications Leader for the Office of the US CEO. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Office of the US CEO team to drive comprehensive CEO external and internal communications strategies and initiatives Assist in developing and implementing multi-faceted external and internal communications strategies, tactics, deliverables, and metrics Work closely with a broad range of communications, marketing, and brand professionals across the organization, as well as in-house agency, to ensure communications initiatives are effectively amplified across the organization Serve as liaison of the Office of the US CEO for organization-wide marketing and communications initiatives, tracking day-to-day communication activities and collaboration Manage select external and internal events from start to finish, including coordinating with OCEO team on briefing materials, talking points for events, speaking engagements, media interviews, social media content, web copy, internal emails, and intranet articles. Assist with managing external creative, marketing, and public relations agency relationships to bring deeper insights and creative approaches to marketing and communications solutions Write and/or edit leadership communications, effectively capturing the voice of our leaders and the nuances of our strategic priorities Assess the relevance and potential use of digital and social media channels to evaluate and improve current strategies. Work collaboratively with digital and social media teams to maximize the amplification and impact of content. Continually measure the effectiveness of communications channels and activities and seek ways to improve and innovate. Manage team reporting and tracking, including tactical and strategic deliverables. Qualifications: Communications professional with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience A Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, Business, communications, public relations, marketing, or journalism Strong knowledge and interest of external/internal communications strategic practices, particularly the use of digital platforms, media, and social media Exposure to a range of industry and sector trends; experience in professional services and/or agency environment a plus Proactive and can work independently with the ability to perform well across multi-disciplinary teams in a highly matrixed organization Exceptionally strong writing and editing capabilities, especially while working under tight deadlines Strong project management experience; managing and completing multiple projects efficiently and effectively in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment while navigating sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion Innovative, creative, curious mindset, and passion for learning about, experimenting with and championing new approaches, platforms, and technologies to strengthen communications impact Experience in measuring the effectiveness of communication strategies and approaches both internally and externally Advance-level proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook and Word. Knowledgeable in all aspects of Microsoft Office and ancillary programs The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $74,230 to $144,695. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
