Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Fixed Assets Project Manager (FAPM) for our Fixed Assets Team who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Fixed Assets Project Manager you will:
• Report directly to the Director of Accounting and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fixed assets team, which includes the following functions: accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and other duties as necessary.
• Supervises approximately two Project Accountants to ensure all the functions of the fixed asset team are running smoothly and efficiently and tasks and projects are being completed as planned.
• Oversees the monthly close process for recording fixed assets and related depreciation for all Adventist Healthcare, Inc. entities in accordance with AHC's monthly close schedule.
• Monitors financial activity captured in the general ledger to ensure the completeness, existence, accuracy, valuation, and presentation of reported balances for fixed assets, accumulated depreciation, and depreciation expense.
• Oversees the monthly process of reconciling the general ledger to the fixed asset subledger; researches and resolves any differences noted.
• Oversees the monthly capital reporting needs of the company, including actual to budget comparisons by project.
• Analyzes fixed asset reporting processes across the company to ensure standardization and best practices, while also working to improve and streamline the process.

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Business Administration
• CPA preferred
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and standards, especially related to long-lived assets.
• Seven years of general accounting experience that includes the preparation and analysis of financial statements and account reconciliations. Prior fixed asset work experience is a plus.
• Experience in process review and development as well as the implementation of new/improved processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Ability to work independently and handle a multi-task environment.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and communication skills.
