Overview

AM LLC has an immediate opening for a full-time Grants Coordinator to support public health, COVID-19 response, and immunization services programming throughout the state of Rhode Island. The Grants Coordinator will perform a variety of administrative support duties related to grants administration. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention-to-detail, planning, and organizational skills. Prior experience working at a local or state health department will be beneficial in this role. This opportunity is fully remote.

This position is contingent upon being awarded the project.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for COVID-related grants
  • Support budget amendments and associated justifications,
  • Populate federal reporting templates
  • Under the direction of project leadership, track risks and issues
  • Support the management of work plans and budgets
  • Support the forecasting spenddown of grant funding
  • Compile information for briefings and other related documentation as needed
  • Attend regular meetings and provide tracking of follow ups and timelines
  • Perform additional support for ELC Data Modernization & ELC Firstline Infection Prevention and Control grants
  • Support collection and submission of monthly, quarterly and ad hoc performance measures to CDC
  • Under the direction of project leadership, complete quarterly progress reports
  • Present a highly professional image and positive attitude in compliance with the entity's policies and procedures.
  • Escalates issues appropriately and informs Team Lead and/or Project Manager about problems and needs for enhancements.
  • Performs other duties to support effective program performance.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate's degree
  • 2 years of related experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior experience working at a local or state health department


TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • User provided home high-speed internet connection. (Minimum 25Mbps)
  • Experience with Google Suite.
  • Utilize RingCentral to make phone calls.
  • Utilize all technology and software issued by the company as needed to meet the needs of the partner agency.
  • These may include but are not limited to: Mac Book, Google Suite, Slack, HelpScout. User-provided home high-speed network connection.
  • Personal mobile device.
  • Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • No travel required. This is a 100% remote position.


PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:

  • This position requires some physical activity with extended periods of standing
  • This position requires the use of a computer screen for extensive periods of time.
  • Viewing computer screen/monitor
