Duties

• You will develop, coordinate, and implement formal guidance related to assessing and reporting system readiness in the areas of Fleet operations and maintenance.
• You will input and prepare consolidated metrics in the areas of Navy Nuclear Deterrence Mission (NNDM) Fleet operations and maintenance, and supporting facilities and infrastructure.
• You will support efforts to synthesize large volumes of and widely varied data and create information that can support executive level decision making.
• You will participate in the Navy Nuclear Deterrence Mission (NNDM) regulatory effort in oversight of Echelon 1 and 2 commands with Operations, Acquisition, Resourcing, Policy, Maintenance and supporting facilities/infrastructure responsibilities.
• You will deliver briefings to high ranking military officers and senior civilian officials.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-2 pay band (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: gathering and analyzing data for nuclear weapons, missiles and related systems by coordinating with outside agencies to assess and develop the readiness and sustainability of fleet operations.
