As a Casino Beverage Server, you will be responsible for setting the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Take order, and serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicablePlace order, and garnish and serve cocktails to guestsMaintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections availableKnowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accuratelyPerform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment to include fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficienciesResolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theftPerform other job-related duties as requestedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:A' Knowledge of beverages on menu, including characteristics of wine and champagne by the glass, major wines, liquor brands, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, terminology, and garnishesHighly motivated and energetic personalityAble to take initiative and exhibit flexibilityExcellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contactsAble to lead and mentor a teamMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidaysPREFERRED:High school diploma or equivalentSix (6) months experience as a cocktail and/or food server in a similar environmentExperience working in a similar resort settingLocation:National Harbor, Maryland
