The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for an Assistant Customer Technical Representative to provide support to the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command's(NAVWAR's) Program Executive Office (PEO) for Manpower, Digital out of the National Capital Region (NCR). The PEO MLB program encompasses Administrative, Total Force Management Support, and Corporate Communications & Public Affairs Support, Command Operations, and Support, and IT Management Support services. JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide technical assistance for computer-related hardware, software, (eg printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, operating systems, and software maintenance/upgrades) and intranet matters. Address client inquiries and resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone, or electronically. Support users with onboarding and off boarding activities Order new NMCI seats as directed by the Government. Request changes to existing NMCI services as directed by the Government. Track, coordinate, and resolve day-to-day software, hardware, and NMCI operational issues, maintenance, and upgrades. Take corrective action to initiate the resolution of application outages within one hour of notification. Assist with technical refreshes of NMCI assets. Examples of support include providing notifications of upcoming tech refreshes, providing instructions received from NMCI to users, and assisting with basic troubleshooting as required. Provide guidance and training regarding NMCI matters. Track NMCI expenses for services. Communicate NMCI guidance to the assigned Government organization. Address NMCI user issues by assisting with basic troubleshooting as required. For more complex issues, refer the users to the NMCI help desk. Track items such as computers, cell phones, and Wi-Fi devices issued to personnel. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned duties Excellent analytical, critical thinking, coordination, and data mining skills Excellent oral and written skills Excellent organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to work independently and as a team member DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree-10 years' experience. Substitution: Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years of additional relevant work experience. Must maintain IAT Level I certification per DoD 8570.1M CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be a US citizen. Active SECRET clearance required.
