Evolver Legal Services is seeking Legal Clerical Support *MUST HOLD an Active Top Secret Clearance* Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Clerical Support shall complete legal clerical projects to improve the overall management of the team and mitigate legal risk associated with clerical functions.The team shall define these projects on a rolling basis, to include with measurable deliverables, timelines and evaluation and acceptability criteria. Examples of projects include: Coordinate intake of new cases and requests for work on existing cases, create case files and tracking records, generate indexing, organizing documentation electronically and in paper case files, and communicating case information to case teams or individuals assigned to work or coordinate on the casesOrganize and process cases received from other business units or external agencies and update the tracking database as neededTrack progress on cases, including checking automated notifications, updating case files and tracking records, monitoring work flow, and reporting progressManage and adhere to security procedures, including recording and executing permissions to case information upon receiving written approval from a government task leadRespond to changes in the case team, including drafting correspondence related to the cases and the requests to all divisions, including field offices Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: Preferred, Three or more years of clerical experience in a law firm or court of justiceAbility to use independent decision-making, good judgment and discretion in handling highly confidential and sensitive informationExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsGreat attention to detail and highly organized, and strong project management skillsAdaptive and flexible work style with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and work well under pressureSchedule, coordinate, and scribe meetingsExperience updating Discovery Work PlansCoordinate technical/data processing supportPrepare documents for imaging/scanning; and scan, copy and file documentsPerform law library management; manage case evidence and exhibits; update manuals and other research manuals, budget development and trackingPrepare files for hearings and trials; assemble notebooks; pull file copies of documents, tab binders, number, bind, label, re-file documents and shelving; pack boxes and prepare them for shipmentDevelop and document a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure for centralized case intake, tracking and closing that incorporates industry best practicesExperience creating and duplicating DVD/CD-ROM mediaPerform multiple projects in conjunction with day to day activitiesExcellent grammatical, editing, and proofreading skillsAbility to transcribe is highly desirable Technical Requirements (required and desired): Shall have excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) including creating and updating chartsActive Top Secret Clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)Ability to transcribe is highly desirable Training and Certifications (required and desired): MUST HOLD an Active Top Secret Clearance EOE Statement: At Evolver, we foster teamwork, growth, individuality and entrepreneurialism.
