Position Description: Serco has an exciting opportunity for a Graphics Designer to join a dynamic team to support corporate communications and branding activities for a government agency located at the L'Enfant Plaza Metro in downtown DC. Bring your organizational skills, and expertise in graphics design, to support our customer in agency wide communications that have an impact. Serco has been supporting this customer as a prime for over 20 years. Our team provides a host of services to support corporate communications, brand management, and content development for internal and public facing products. In this role, you will: Provide graphic design support to all levels of the organization following corporate identity and branding guidelines and policies for multiple communications media.Work with clients on creative strategy and requirements.Design electronic and print collateral materials such as corporate publications, brochures, posters, displays, package design and advertisements for high-volume national distribution. Design illustrations for print, motion graphics, web pages and video. Design, illustrate, and produce print, web-based, and interactive ads. Create screensavers and QR codes.Conceptualize and produce web-based designs (eg, wireframe layouts, HTML, web e-blast, interactive PDF files, and web art preparation). Create Microsoft Word documents and PowerPoint presentations.Coordinate multiple publishing tasks, coordinating outside print jobs and deliverables, and developing production schedules and timelines. Coordinate projects and interact professionally with customers at all levels of the organization.Assist department in managing incoming design projects during their entire lifecycle - including creative analysis, research, design, production and printing. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will:Have at least 5 years of experience in advanced graphic design, computer-assisted design, digital media, and photography.Have experience with 508 compliance.Have experience on both PC and Apple systems using a variety of graphic design packages such as:FrameMakerAdobe Acrobat Creative Cloud (CC).Adobe Bridge CC 18.Adobe Creative CC 18 Design Premium that includes:InDesign CC 18Dreamweaver CC 18Animate CC 18Illustrator CC 18Microsoft Office 2016 (Mac) (software includes Word 2016, PowerPoint 2016, Excel 2016)Photoshop CC 18Be highly creative with outstanding design sensibilities and production skills.Have interpersonal and presentation skills, communicate effectively, multi-task and have a professional attitude.Receive and execute art direction in a timely manner - from research, concept and design, to production and printing.Have an associates degree in Fine Arts in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.Be able to obtain and maintain a NACI clearance.
