Job Summary:
Are you looking to start your career and interested in restaurant marketing? Sparks Group has partnered with a Frederick, MD based hospitality/restaurant company to find a Field Marketing Manager to help with various marketing operations tasks. This is an entry level, direct hire opportunity to help launch and grow your career! As the Field Marketing Manager, you will becomethe expert on the brand by coordinating with the company leaders (Director of Operations, Senior Director of Marketing, District Managers, etc.) and franchise stores to develop local restaurant marketing plans, execute marketing projects, create social media presence in the local community to increase brand sales and profit. You will be working with a small marketing team in conjunction with a Creative agency, PR firm and more. This role requires 30% -50% travel (mostly local). Salary is $40K.
Field Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
? Assist in evaluating local restaurant marketing programs by creating relationships with businesses, schools, and community organizations with custom action plans to support restaurant sales goals.
? Incorporate resources for special brand & sales building events by leveraging various programs such as community days, fundraisers, parades, appearances, or other events.
? Manage the out-of-home (OOH) assets including billboards, DOT directional signs, and Adopt-A-Highway signs.
? Lead the Street Team to identify events to maximize brand visibility and sales opportunities through various tactics.
? Manage, recommend, and process all company sponsorship and donation requests.
? Develop marketing plans and execute tactics supporting all company and franchise restaurant grand opening events for a strong and sustainable opening.
? Develop competitive blunting plans to spearhead marketing initiatives supporting specific programs to expand the audience base.
? Work with creative services agencies to oversee the design, production, and distribution of various point-of-purchase (P.O.P) and materials supporting the local restaurant and customer
experience marketing efforts.
? Coincide with the Brand Marketing Manager and Senior Director of Marketing on all marketing communications.
? Attend and contribute to General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Franchisee meetings as required.
? Develop geo-targeted digital and social tactics suitable for restaurant events such as grand openings, competitive blunting, community events, or general sales-building targets.
? Work with different social media platforms to increase brand visibility.
Field Marketing Manager Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or business Administration preferred. Will consider other degree fields in conjunction with prior retail experience.
? Prior marketing experience in food, retail, or advertising agencies preferred.
? Must be willing to travel 50% of the time to work with restaurants and franchisees. Some evening and weekend work are required.
? Great communication, problem-solving, customer service, and analytical skills with the ability to multitask, work independently, and prioritize tasks to meet goals.
? Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other similar software packages.
? Must possess a valid driver's license and proper insurance coverage for business-related travel.
