The University of Maryland seeks a non-exempt Irrigation Technician to monitor, maintain and repair multiple fountains and irrigation systems throughout the campus. Duties include troubleshooting and making repairs to irrigation system, locate and repair low voltage irrigation control wires, and perform inspections of irrigation systems. Incumbent is also responsible for the daily maintenance of fountains, assisting supervisor with evaluations of irrigation systems. Also required to perform landscaping duties as part of the Landscape Services unit including snow duty.
