Salesforce Project Manager

Job Summary

Aptive is seeking a Project Manager with Salesforce implementation expertise as well as CRM expertise to support the Air Force Retirement Application in managing a system migration and digital transformation from Oracle to Salesforce. In this position, you will have overall management of the contract team, including overseeing technology architects, engineers and business intelligence analysts to facilitate the successful migration to Salesforce.

This mid-senior level, full-time position is remote but may eventually require some on site time at Aptive's Alexandria, VA headquarters as well as in-person customer meetings at the client's headquarters.

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client.
• Develop project timelines and project plans.
• Establish/enforce project governance for communications, status reporting, decision making, escalations, time reporting, risk management, issue management, document repository, etc.
• Track and report team progress against timelines and plans.
• Develop and manage relationships with varied stakeholders, from client leadership to subcontractors.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years of experience leading a multidisciplinary team of experts supporting technology implementations, including migration efforts from systems to Salesforce, with federal clients.

• Demonstrated experience with Salesforce and/or other enterprise CR
• Bachelor's degree in communications, computer science or a related area of study.
• M systems, including requirements development, scoping, implementation and ongoing enhancement.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Experience with organizing and assigning responsibilities to subordinates (including subcontractors).
• Adept at reviewing the workload of each team member and assigning them to support high volume programs and projects based on the mission, current speed, volume, and demand of the client.

Desired Qualifications

• PMP certification.
• Familiarity with federal recruiting/hiring practices a plus.
• Experience with oversight of broader strategic system migration initiatives.
• 4+ years of Salesforce implementation experience including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, and Integrations utilizing proven project management processes and framework.

• Knowledge of various stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including analysis, requirement engineering, architecture design, development, enhancements, testing.
• Demonstrated management and leadership skills.
• Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
• Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
