Job Summary

Aptive is seeking a Graphic Designer to support the corporate marketing team by developing graphics and creative materials for internal and external corporate marketing.

This support includes producing deliverables that help brand the company. Required products include social media graphics, brand materials, high-resolution proposal graphic files (e.g., process graphics, organization charts, matrices), infographics, marketing flyers, PowerPoint presentations, and other print and digital media products for internal and external communication. The Graphic Designer will assist with defining and influencing strategy and work directly with internal clients to create concepts and develop designs. The candidate must also have the ability to not only lead/support creative development, but to work and communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

This is a mid-level, full-time position. This position may be remote.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing and other business units to define video/graphic project requirements and scope.
  • Create, develop and produce innovative digital video programming and marketing content across client owned channels (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) on a daily basis.
  • Participates in strategic planning for video storytelling across channels, including the website, newsletters, social media, as well as conferences and other in-person events.
  • Manage all aspects of video production and development, pre-production, production and post, including writing, shooting, editing, motion graphics, selection of music, and editorial.
  • Shoot a variety of styles of original and branded content, in the field and in the studio, including documentary pieces, commercial-style shoots, sketch, music video and long-form videos.
  • Create sizzle reels, pitch reels, case studies, marketing pieces, and day-to-day social videos for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop products that support an integrated communications campaign that communicates the new branding effort and garners buy-in from employees and stakeholders.
  • Develop graphics and marketing materials that adhere to standardized branding.
  • Generate promotional materials in print and digital formats, including fact sheets, templates, outreach materials, videos and more in alignment with corporate graphic standards.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to review designs and gather feedback.

Minimum Qualifications

  • +6 years of progressively complex, relevant video/content editing experience at an agency and/or production house environment.
  • End-to-end familiarity with video production process, including concepting ideas, pitching ideas, preproduction, shooting and post-production/editing.
  • Bachelor's degree in video, graphic, motion or related experience strongly preferred.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting executive level clients.
  • Fluent in new developments in digital storytelling, technologies, and delivery.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut Pro, Creative Suite, audio mixing, lighting, and color correction/finishing.
  • Technical knowledge of production studio and on-location set-up to include shooting, lighting, audio equipment, teleprompter, transcription, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for visual storytelling, concepting, treatments and storyboarding.
  • Strong background in creative digital photography and lighting. Experience with studio photography and event coverage, capturing corporate headshots, portraits and candid shots.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Strong project-management and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, organize time and identify resources for projects.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Experience with Section 508c compliance standards/related laws within the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
