Principal Associate, Data Exchange Platforms - ES Risk

The Enterprise Services Risk Office mission is to make it easy for business teams to deliver innovative and well-managed products and services to our customers (and to have fun while doing it). We are looking for critical thinkers who are ready to challenge conventional approaches in search of better ways to manage risk and partner in the challenge to create amazing experiences for our customers.

As a member of the ES Risk team, you will lead our core risk work (process risk management, control testing, regulation applicability, issue management, etc) for our data exchange platform groups. You will be exposed to exciting new initiatives in EP2 (Enterprise Products and Platforms). And, partnering across teams, you will help create routines, deliver reporting, and improve processes that enable us to stay well-managed and evolve how we think about risk management.

You should consider this role if you're someone who:
  • Loves to wear multiple hats and work with a wide variety of teams
  • Has a passion for supporting product teams creating amazing customer and developer experiences
  • Embraces risk management as an enabler, rather than a blocker to innovation
  • Is seen as a relationship builder who can build trust to make things happen
  • Enjoys functioning in a dynamic environment with changing conditions
  • Can manage multiple deliverables at the same time
  • Can create and improve our routines and reporting

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee our governance and reporting routines
  • Facilitate and support process and control testing and management activities (including audits and assessments)
  • Develop and maintain the core risk profile for the internal and external Data Exchange Platforms tower
  • Translate regulatory jargon and technically complex information into easily understandable language
  • Partner across risk teams, including Product, Tech, and Cyber, to evolve how we work as an organization
  • Build a reputation as a trusted advisor to the business
  • Be a champion of change
  • Communicate effectively at all levels
  • Navigate in gray space to proactively identify new risks as the business innovates

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of project or process management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to adapt to the changing circumstances of a fast-paced technology company
  • 1+ years of experience with Chief of Staff or governance teams
  • Attention to detail and results focused
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic foundation in a compliance, regulatory, audit, legal or risk management function
  • Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification
