Venturi, LLC, a Chenega company has an exciting career opportunity for a Logistics Analyst Intermediate who will work as an effective team member to solve complex life cycle logistics problems and apply sound judgment to develop life cycle logistics policies, plans, procedures, and documents. The Logistics Analyst Intermediate will identify and apply concepts, policies, and practices of logistics management as they apply to new and legacy systems during the sustainment phase of the life cycle.

Responsibilities

Work you'll do

As a Logistics Analyst Intermediate within our team, you will:
  • Work as an effective team member to solve complex life cycle logistics problems in support of government requirements.
  • Manage and follow published policies and regulations.
  • Perform continuous process improvement, contract management, acquisition, planning, funding, and management information systems.
  • Establish, develop, update, and manage policies, instructions, procedures, and strategies in accordance with statutory, regulatory, and policy processes and procedures.
  • Develop, review, analyze, and validate comprehensive Product Support Strategies.
  • Effectively use methods and tools to mitigate risks, including planning for risk, assessing risk areas, and developing risk management options.
  • Develop presentations and information papers and research, analyze, and compile data into information, decisional, and instructional briefings and develop metrics to track level of effort and progress in preparation for senior level reviews and updates.
  • Effectively and independently present presentations and briefings to senior leaders.
  • May be required to provide daily supervision and direction to support team in compliance with policies and procedures and applicable laws.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • BA/BS, preferably in Life Cycle Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Engineering, or similar logistics specialty OR
  • AA/AS and 10+ years of logistics experience
  • 5+ years of lifecycle logistics
  • Specialized Education: Must possess or attain one of the following certifications within 12 months of start date:

BA/BS

Life Cycle Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Engineering, or similar logistics specialty

Defense Acquisition University (DAU)

Life Cycle Logistics level 2

Program Management level 2

Program Management Institute

Program Management Professional Certification (PMP)

Society of Logistics Engineers

Certified Professional Logistician

Demonstrated Master Logistician

Demonstrated Senior Logistician

National Property Management Association

Certified Property Professional Specialist (CPPS)

Certified Property Professional Administrator (CPPA)

Certified Property Professional Manager (CPPM)
  • Must possess an interim secret security clearance on day one and obtain and maintain a secret clearance for the duration of the contract
  • The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Must have the ability to travel 15-30% to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Must have the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Knowledge of logistics and life-cycle management principles, concepts, policies, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of contractual processes, procedures, and technical requirements as it applies to logistical support.
  • Ability to meet and deal with customers using a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, including writing and preparing memorandums, letters, briefings, and other official correspondence.
  • Knowledge and skills in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
