About the Position:The Graduate Communications Associate will work independently and collaboratively with the CEC Office of Graduate Studies. This position is expected to assist with administrative tasks such as telephone calls, emails, and virtual student meetings. This position could be set up with a hybrid telework or primarily remote work schedule. This is a temporary, part-time position; 20 to 25 hours per week.Responsibilities:Monitoring and updating CEC graduate webpages managed by the Office;Promoting events and announcements for web-based recruitment efforts;Building and organizing event campaigns for the purpose of inviting prospective graduate students to recruiting events;Maintaining and developing communication campaigns to include set up of email templates and recipient reports, including tracking of communication statistics and broadcasts through the CRM;Assisting with the coordination and tracking of leads and inquiry data loads into the CRM; andOther duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Must possess a solid understanding of communications, marketing, or business administration;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Proven attention to detail;Demonstrated customer service experience;Prior experience in taking initiative and completing projects and/or assignments with minimal supervision; andExcellent computer skills and willingness to learn new software and systems.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the field of communications, marketing, recruitment, or business administration;Experience using CRM software, such as Salesforce/TargetX;Experience analyzing data; andHigher education admissions experience.A Force for Innovation in the Heart of Northern Virginia's Technology CorridorThe College of Engineering and Computing at George Mason University is comprised of the Volgenau School of Engineering and a new School of Computing.
