Job Summary
The Senior Front-end Engineer will work closely with our product owner to manage planned roadmap work and identify new roadmap initiatives. Provide guidance to the feature squad by leading projects through planning/design/implementation and breaking down tasks into manageable workloads. Seek out new technologies and best practices for improving Innovation. Coach/mentor junior team members to improve team knowledge.

What you'll be doing
  • Take point on feature design and feature implementation on Arc's Media editing suite of tools which our customers use to create and deliver digital assets to hundreds of global websites.
  • Building reusable React components used to manage digital assets by Arc's editorial systems and shared across teams.
  • Working closely with our Product Manager to define the Video and Photo centers technical roadmap.
  • Working closely with our Design team to build a user-experience that delights our customers and their users.
  • Monitoring the behavior and performance of Video and Photo products in production using tools like Pendo and DataDog.
  • Coaching and mentoring engineers on the team


Qualifications Must-Haves
  • 4+ years experience building customer-facing web applications.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
  • Strong proficiency in CSS.
  • Fluent in English


Nice to Haves
  • Experience building reusable React components used by other teams or companies.
  • Experience instrumenting front-end code to analyze performance and correctness.
  • Experience with testing tools like Cypress.
