Our client is seeking an engaging, polished, and highly organized HR Onboarding Coordinator to join their New Employee Experience (NEE) team.

Are you an organized customer service focused coordinator interested in providing value to the new hire experience supporting the New Employee Experience team? Do you believe that every candidate deserves the " White Glove Experience? " The NEE Onboarding Coordinator will handle pre-hire onboarding logistics coordination, facilitate New Employee Orientation, and support other in person and virtual first year new employee events to provide superb onboarding experience to new employees. The coordinator will be working with the Technical IT Team, Human Resources Service Center and Talent Acquisition to trouble shoot issues and ensure a smooth transition into the company as the "first touch" of all new employees. Sparks is seeking high energy candidates who have strong communication and interpersonal skills and can work in a fast paced, high volume work environment.

Due to the nature of our client's work, this role requires US Citizenship and Covid 19 vaccination.
This role requires working in office at either the Mclean, VA or Bedford, MA locations every Monday and two other days per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as lead for pre-hire new employee onboarding coordination. This involves communicating with new employees to provide pre-hire logistics coordination and to answer new hire questions. It also involves working in close partnership with the HR Service Center onboarding team, IT technical teams to ensure that all parties have the information they need for a smooth and positive new employee onboarding experience.
  • Support all correspondence as the primary point of contact both internally and externally for candidate and company onboarding arrangements
  • Support the New Employee Experience team and Managers with "white glove" meeting coordination.
  • Provide logistical accommodations to include administrative shipping of new employee hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve onboarding issues with new employees and internal NEE partner teams
  • Support new employee orientation via Zoom and MS Teams
  • Act as producer to ran Chat Box during virtual orientation meetings
  • Monitor new employee email box and escalate questions to appropriate department leadership
  • Assist with creating power point presentations for department
  • Greet new employees in person for first day Orientation and lead the campus tour and networking activities.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Prior experience onboarding new employees within a remote setting is highly regarded
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Working knowledge of MS Teams and Zoom
  • High Attention to detail and MS Excel experience
  • Strong customer service and trouble shooting skills
  • Able to work well with others in a team environment
  • Experience with registration and tracking attendees for virtual new employee events on Zoom
  • Highly detail oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks, and projects
  • Logical reasoning when responding to tasks and providing exceptional customer service to new employees
  • Must be a quick learner, and easily adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work in a fast paced, high volume work environment.
  • Must understand new employee experience and helping new hires be at ease within an in person and remote setting as a new employee
  • Creating presentation in MS PowerPoint (making the slides look great).
