Job Summary

Aptive is seeking a Process Configuration Analyst to support a large federal government project that will be transforming an on premise, manual document ingestion process to an automated, highly secure cloud environment using Hyperscience software.

The ideal candidate would have demonstrated experience in enterprise support covering a wide range of Information Technology (IT) and Health IT services performing configuration of various document processing, automation, systems and software engineering, operations and maintenance. Hyperscience experience in this area is a big plus.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), is one of the country's largest and most complex organizations - with 1,600 care sites across 50 states and a staff of approximately 300,000 employees caring for over 6 million Veterans. Aptive requires professional and technical support services to assist the Deputy Under Secretary of Health (DUSH)-who is accountable for specific health care programs enabling and supporting virtually every aspect of patient care provided to Veterans-with the development, administration, and management of various emerging initiatives, some of which are legislatively mandated. Aptive serves as the VHA strategic partner to transform a wide range of Information Technology (IT) and Health IT services, including program management and strategic planning, systems and software engineering, enterprise networks, cyber security, operations and maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Configuring, testing, and deploying the automation with integration to internal and external data bases
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the manual rules used today to govern the process and then translating those rules into automated commands
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of the solution
  • Collaborate with the process owners to execute project plans for implementation projects
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to execute deployment plans
  • Refine and expand the automation based upon users feedback

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or Similar
  • Experience with OCR technologies
  • Minimum 3 years supporting configuration, development, testing or deployment of automation solutions.
  • Knowledge of developing applications
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communications abilities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project tracking and conceptual skills
  • An analytical mind that can break down complex problems into solvable components
  • Demonstrated writing skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Hyperscience environment
  • Experience in SAFe/Agile Software Development
  • Experience in Kofax, Kofax KTA, Abby or other OCR Technologies
  • Experienced in developing customized solutions in languages such as: Java, JavaScript, J-Query and JSON, Python
  • Ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience
