Job Summary

Aptive is seeking a SharePoint specialist with administration and development experience to support our corporate environment.



The preferred candidate will apply their professional and technical experience in managing the design and development of technical applications using the MicroSoft (MS) SharePoint web platform. The ideal candidate is comfortable in creating and configuring SharePoint solutions in the role of a SharePoint developer and administrator and has experience in MS Power Platform design, e.g., Power Automate and Power Apps.



The preferred candidate will also be able to work alongside our stakeholders to determine if related SharePoint processes are effective and efficient through research, data gathering and analysis of similar methods. The candidate will have excellent business analysis skills to organize and execute SharePoint projects that align with the business workflow.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensuring delivery and quality of the solutions meets the business requirements
  • Review existing SharePoint architecture, identify deficiencies, and develop solutions.
  • Design and developing custom SharePoint sites, pages, libraries, lists, views, workflows and scripts
  • Assist in communicating new features released to users
  • Create and maintain application solution documentation
  • Assist in creating end-user and technical documentation
  • Integrate Microsoft Flow/Power Automate into SharePoint
  • Develop workflows that enhance the use of SharePoint
  • Self-starter with a drive to accomplish tasks with high attention to detail


Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of SharePoint and MS Power Solutions application experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience in the application of SharePoint in the Federal Agency environment
  • Knowledge of design, development, testing and implementation of enterprise scale apps
  • Understanding of SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts and workflow creation
  • Ability to create and configure SharePoint intake workflow applications
  • Experience in usability testing and UI/UX best practices
  • Understanding of Windows operating system and hardware
  • Knowledge of software management
  • Understanding of the rights, permissions, capabilities and responsibilities of four kinds of SharePoint users: End Users, Power Users, Site Owners, Site Collection Administrators and SharePoint Farm Administrators
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage change and ambiguity
  • Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Experience in corporate or executive-level stakeholder management
  • Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Skilled use of virtual platforms such as MS Teams and Zoo
