We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Compliance Risk Principal Associate to join our team in supporting US Card Compliance. Our Local Governance (LGOV) team is a key contributor to the team being well managed in its efforts to provide compliance advice and effective challenge to US Card as well as driving our people agenda. This role will perform monitoring, analysis and reporting functions, help coordinate enterprise programs across Compliance Advisory to ensure effective and consistent execution across our team, and assist in driving team engagement. The Principal Associate will also serve as a key partner to the US Card Risk Office in addition to other Compliance teams. A successful team member is a highly motivated, forward thinking, self-starter who can work well with multiple stakeholders, is technologically adept, and a problem solver. The candidate chosen for this role will be expected to support projects, process improvements, and deliver quality results in a complex environment and subject matter area.

The Compliance Advisor PA Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
  • Support the US Card Compliance team in various activities supporting the Compliance Management Program (CMP) framework to ensure they are contributing to a well managed organization
  • Participate in compliance reporting activities, such as: state of compliance, testing results, credit bureau reporting, and other reports used by Senior Leadership
  • Obtain, analyze, and use data to tell a compelling story to identify trends, changes, and impacts
  • Support the US Card Compliance team in risk assessments and other functions as needed
  • Identify and implement efficiencies and process improvements
  • Demonstrate an understanding of business processes, risk and control frameworks
  • Support or drive other projects as needed
  • Provide input on regulatory requirements and their applicability to business products and services


Basic Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in project or process management
  • At least 2 years of experience in audit, compliance, risk management, control or transaction reviews


Preferred Qualifications :
  • At least 4 years of compliance, auditing, or general risk management experience within consumer financial services
  • At least 1 year working knowledge of PRIME
